NEW - General Purpose SSD v2

We are pleased to announce the availability of General Purpose SSD v2 (GP SSD v2) in Elastic Volume Service (EVS).

GP SSD v2 introduces a new level of flexibility by allowing capacity, IOPS, and throughput to be configured independently. By decoupling storage capacity from performance, GP SSD v2 enables customers to scale storage resources according to workload requirements while optimizing both performance and cost efficiency.

• Independent configuration of capacity, IOPS, and throughput
• Configurable performance ranging from 3,000 to 128,000 IOPS
• Configurable throughput ranging from 125 to 1,000 MiB/s
• Low-latency storage for performance-sensitive workloads
