The Classic VPN service has reached its end of life and is scheduled to be decommissioned on November 30, 2025.
This was announced in the release notes on August 29, 2025.
Starting October 17, 2025, it will no longer be possible to create new connections using the Classic VPN service.
Existing connections are not affected for now, but they must still be migrated to our Enterprise VPN service by November 30, 2025.
How does this affect you as a customer?
- You can no longer create new Classic VPN connections as of now.
- If you are currently using the Classic VPN in EU-DE, a migration to the Enterprise VPN is required by November 30, 2025.
- If you are already using our Enterprise VPN, no action is required on your part.
- A detailed migration guide can be found in our Community Portal.
- The migration may lead to a service interruption, which typically lasts only a few minutes.
