We’re announcing the availability of our latest Generation 9 Compute instances in the EU-NL region, expanding access to our newest compute technology for customers across Europe.
ECS Generation 9 introduces enhanced performance, efficiency, and scalability across three instance families:
- Compute-optimized (c9): Designed for CPU-intensive workloads such as high-performance computing, batch processing, and gaming backends.
- Memory-optimized (m9): Ideal for in-memory databases, real-time analytics, and large-scale enterprise applications.
- General purpose (s9): Balanced compute, memory, and networking for a wide range of business applications and web services.
All Generation 9 instance families (c9, m9, and s9) are now available across all availability zones in the EU-NL region, enabling improved resilience, high availability, and flexible deployment architectures.
